An important commission, « Passport 2001 », allowed me to share a vision of the epidemic with thousands of people, during the major event that marked the 20th anniversary of the fights against AIDS. Sponsored by American Express and Macy’s, Passport 2001 mobilized and brought together some big names from the fashion, entertainment, and research fields. Nine "panels of hope" - giant photographic portraits made of sequences and juxtapositions - paid tribute to nine "everyday warriors", unknown players whose dedication, commitment, and resistance to hardship deserve a particular tribute.
